SimilarityAndAI is an independent academic support service. We give students access to genuine Turnitin similarity and AI detection reports before they submit their work — so an unexpected score never has to be a surprise on submission day.
We're not a plagiarism generator, an AI writing tool, or a way to game a detector. We simply run the same check your institution runs, hand you the results in plain language, and let you decide what to do next — revise a flagged paragraph, rework a section, or submit with confidence.
Every check runs in No Repository Mode, meaning your document is never saved to or indexed in Turnitin's repository. Reviewing your work here has zero effect on the originality of what you eventually submit.
What similarity and AI detection actually measure
Similarity score
Measures how much of your text matches existing sources — academic papers, websites, and previously submitted student work. A percentage alone doesn't mean misconduct; properly cited quotes and references also count as matches. What matters is context.
AI detection score
Estimates how much of your writing shows patterns consistent with AI-generated text — regardless of whether you copied anything. It analyses sentence structure and phrasing, not sources, and can occasionally flag genuine human writing incorrectly.
They're two separate scores, measuring two separate things. We show you both, broken down sentence by sentence, so you know exactly what your reports are really telling you.
